Job Details:

The ideal candidate will be an exceptionally strong professional.
Fluency in both written and spoken English
You will be a self-motivator, flexible and creative in order to develop innovative options in the best interest of guests and the hotel.
Work experience in the same position within the international hotel environment or big organization with swimming pool facilities.
Valid First aid certificate
CPR qualification
Lifeguard Certification or experience certificate

Provide general information on the pool operation to guests as required.
Ensure the swimming pool is clean.
Ensure the sun loungers are clean, in the correct position and in working order, as well as that the pool deck is always clean of any debris during the operation.
Monitor swimming pool activity-is constantly alert for the safety of guests, reporting any unsafe conditions or activity to his Manager.
Assist anybody who is in difficulty in and around the pool area.
Check the temperature of the pool to ensure they are at set standard.
Ensure that the pool deck is swept and watered down and that all furniture is in correct place during morning set up.
Ensure that the umbrellas are fixed properly to their units and tidied down when not in use.
Follows the emergency action plan and procedures established in the event of an emergency and assist in First Aid.
Clear all dirty towels and hand them to reception for laundry.
